How does skin age?

Collagen fibres and elastin are two major components of the collagen network in skin tissue. A well-established skin structure is essential for healthy, firm, radiant and youthful-looking skin.

When the breakdown of collagen fibres is faster than their regeneration the skin starts showing signs of ageing.

Scientists have developed the Undo complex^TM because they found that the hormone angiotensin II is the major cause of collagen degradation. Angiotensin II helps activate enzymes, called metalloproteinase, which can cut collagen almost like scissors would - accelerating skin ageing.
